A picture of the Active Volcano.
Hiking to the Volcano we were reminded of the Dangers!
Volcano Arenal
After two days spent near the Volcano, doing some hiking and trekking around the various towns we decided to head up to the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The drive took a good 3 hours half of which was in 4x4 country.
Amanda and I trekking in the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
The Cloud Forest reminded us of the Hoh Rain forest in Washington State
One of the many Hanging bridges through the Canopy
Amanda and I took the plunge and had a lot of fun on one of Costa Rica's signature Zip-line tours through the Forest Canopy!! It was a blast!
Amanda and I with our Guide on the Zip Line!
Amanda is making her way on one of the segments of the line.
A video of Amanda's adventure on the Zip Line! This segment was one of many in which we flew over the forest canopy in nothing more then a harness.
An example of the roads.

I'm so excited that you have a blog now!! With all of your adventures I know you will have lots to share :)
The zip line video reminded me of when we went on one at the 6th grade ropes course. The Costa Rica one looked a bit bigger though.
Can't wait for you to come visit!!
