The Nursery

I've never done a "theme" room in my life. And honestly I was looking forward to doing the nursery/guest room with a somewhat sophisticated ambiance to it. Why? I don't know, especially since "sophisticated" and "ambiance" aren't marked qualities of our little household. My sweet mother offered to sew the bedding, etc. for the nursery (what a great grandmother already!) leaving us to choose whatever fabrics we desire to theme-up the nursery. As I was looking through samples online Mark suggested we do something more whimsical, after all, Amanda, this is a child's room. We ventured off on a somewhat rushed visit to the fabric store. I was certain it would be unsuccessful and was prepared for an ill outcome. my optimist nature I suppose. Mark quickly came across a red and white fabric with a vintage nursery rhyme print. I took me a minute to adjust, but soon I was hooked. Here's our fabric picks as they currently stand. The green may be swapped out.

Do you think you should look for a red and black paisley fabric to tie in the others...skip the green?
Just a "comment". Love, Grandma Claire

It's actually brown, not black. Difficult to tell, I know.
