Vacation Pics, Take Two

Here are the pictures that you might actually be interested in :)  Feel free to ask me if you are curious about specific locations.
So happy to have made it on the train upon arriving in country!  We would soon be bombarded by people telling us (didn't matter that we didn't speak the language- we understood just fine) how terribly under-dressed Jude was.  Opps.  I was learned that babies are supposed to have at least 2-3 layers on at all times.  Strangers would lift up his shirt to check and gasp at his bare belly.  It was a riot.  Well, other than the fact that I immediately looked like a horrible mom.

Finally with our very favorite people!!

Mark has no idea that he is going to pay dearly for eating this very tasty pastry thing.  Fortunately it was our only causality of the trip and it passed quickly.

Wait, hold on just one minute.  I think AJ knew something about this.
Jude knows where it's at.

Overlooking the Medina.  An amazing walled city that is thought to be the largest car-free urban area in the world.  Weavers, tanneries, metal-workers, shops, bathhouses, donkeys, schools, mosques, and a million other forms of life are hidden throughout this labyrinth.  The old-world smell is still with me. in a good way.
You might just be looking at our Christmas card picture.
At the weavers.  If Mark and Amanda would move out of the way, you could actually see the man on his huge wooden loom.

Great pictures! You all look like you're having a wonderful time with your friends. And Jude, oh my, what a doll.

The post came out great. Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this. I can look at the pics and read the blog from the comfort of my family room without having to travel anywhere and yet feel like I've visited the world.

Love you all dearly!
