Jude made it out to see his great-grandparents last week. They live at the (gorgeous, lush, captivating) end of the world. Jude loves their farm. What's not to love? To my great relief, Jude finally started putting "Grandpa" in front of "Grandpa Pete" right before we arrived. It just doesn't sound appropriate for a little tyke to call a 90 year old man "Pete," as Jude was in the habit of doing.

Driving the tractor with Grandpa Pete. One serious worker.

Food pusher. Jude decided that the cows would eat, even if he had to hand feed them all. (The cows, on the other hand, seemed put off simply by his being there.)

Riding in back of tractor, "bye, bye moo moo cows"

Because getting dressed takes so long, mama might as well document it.
|
Jude's very first glimpse of the ocean.
|
We should have enjoyed his initial hesitance as it soon looked something like this:

Mark's 36th time saving Jude from being swept away.

He's hooked.

These pics are so great! Love the one of him driving the tractor with great-grandpa!
Loved the post. I should think the term is "lush" not "lust" in describing the beautiful farm.
Jude is growing up incredibly fast!
"lust"- ha! fixed it. or maybe I was referring to Twilight...
I just love all these pictures. I miss you guys! I can't believe Jude will be 2 soon. I wish I could be at his bday party again this year!
