Over the past few months we've been getting a greater sense of what Jude finds funny. And often it's in unlikely places. A couple months ago we found ourselves near a neighborhood skatepark. You know, with the clement u-shaped rampy things, the hoards of teenage boys and the spattering of girls, hips cocked to the side. Something caught Jude's attention and we, of course, took our obligatory position following his waddle-run over to the half-pipe. And then it happened. A simple trip from a skateboarder and Jude was in an all-out belly laugh. I was mortified. We had a pint-size heckler on our hands. More trips, stumbles and skateboard crashes followed. Jude was in stitches. The teenage boys caught on and were soon lining up to fake their best falls. As their vip guests, we took a seat on the bench. A bench that Jude fell off of from laughing so hard.*
Just last week he found this funny. And we found him finding this funny, funny:
*I feel the need to clarify that when people in our home get hurt, Jude offers to "kiss it" and "get boo boo buddy" (the ice pack)- without laughing. So I don't actually think we're raising a budding sociopath. But you never know, right? Just kidding :)

It won a smile from me :-) I'm impressed that you captured it on film! We miss you, Jude!

Hilarious!
I would be tempted to print out a 50 page paper just to keep him laughing...it would be worth it.
I can't wait to see him!
Ellis and I are going to watch AGAIN...it's her new favorite show :)
