Luke is a fixated, single-minded, relentless pursuer of one thing: The Plant. Luke's first conquest, which resulted in a Luke-sized replica of a garden on our living room floor, brought Jude to tears and his own admonishment of Luke, "Luke, we just got new carpet and YOU ruined it! You are such a naughty boy!" The second time Luke got into it (I know what you're thinking, he's quick, ok?) Jude got the vacuum and with a swift and severe glare at Luke turned it on to take care of business. The third mishap with the plant and Jude suggested, in all seriousness, "Mom, maybe we should get a new baby, one who doesn't get into potted plants." I eventually stopped laughing and Jude added, "but we'd miss him." We would miss him, soil-eating and all.

Thanks for the post. Just remember that "these are the good old days" you will remember fondly. So glad you are recording them so that you can look back and remember. There is no more important work than taking care of your family and you are doing it well with grace and humor.
I agree with Claire! The time goes by so fast and you are doing such a great job! Thanks Amanda for all the work you do! Luke and Jude are so much fun to be around thanks to you and Mark.
