Earlier Jude declared, "Halloween is a fun season!" and I think that about sums it up. The season commenced tonight (after an evening Fall Festival and after a school party) with trick-or-treating around our new neighborhood. Once Luke figured out that we weren't actually being invited inside, once Jude figured out that he wasn't on bug patrol on each porch and once I figured out it wasn't about sneaking interior decorating ideas, we were all over it.

| Jude was supposed to be his favorite literary character for preschool. The letter home even stated that in order to dress up for school you had to bring the book along. In seeing his 15 classmates dressed as skeleton ghosts, witches and princesses it was immediately clear that we were the only ones that fell for this book thing. Here he is as Franklin the Turtle. As soon as I put the costume on him he told me, "I think I'll just hid under my shell all day." Seems fitting.... |

I love this! Jude as a turtle is so perfect and oh my goodness, Luke is so adorable. Thanks for posting :) I miss those munchkins lots.
