2 Month Update

• He's Cute!  Don't tell Luke, but I had my doubts at first.  I mean I, of course, always thought he was irrestistable, but any amount of objectivity told me that his squirmy, acne-covered, flaky self wasn't winning any cutest baby contests.  He's coming into his own now though and he's pretty decent.
• He's Big! 14 lbs, 7oz. and 24.5 inches long (95 percentile each). Based on our family track record I'm not really surprised, though if he grew this much loosing at least one meal a day ("Pukey Lukey," remember?) I'm waiting to see what he can do when he keeps it all down.  My arms are sore at the very thought of it...
• He's a Sleeper (or used to be)!  Before our Chicago trip he was pulling some great long stretches (some 6-7 hours).  The past few nights we've been back to 2-3 hours.  I'm holding onto the hope that he still has it in him.  Dig deep, my child.
• He's Social!  When not in the throws of tummy pain-generally every night for 3 hours- he is a happy fellow with the biggest smile you ever did see (but haven't seen yet as I can't catch it on camera). He tries desperately to converse as well, our doctor thinks he will be a big talker.  Not sure how I'll handle two of those in our home. Or car.

So that's it: he's cute, big and social. I'll take four of him.  Happy 2 months, Baby Boy!
