Uncle Timmy (my little brother and medical student extraordinaire) sent Luke his first doctor outfit. Jude is fascinated by doctors, so he really got a kick out of seeing Luke in his scrub-like getup. Whenever we are heading to a new playdate Jude always asked if they have a stethoscope at their house. Then, a few days ago, I asked Jude to take a band-aid off my foot (oh, the tasks I give him to keep him occupied while I nurse). His response, "I am a big brother, that's like a doctor. I know how to do this. I be soooooo gentle." Maybe we'll have another doctor in the family. Or a midwife, because I think they are actually his favorite.

Thinking of you today as company arrives and the end of Mark's training is in sight. Thanks so much for the posts. They are very precious to me! I showed Timmy and he enjoyed the doctor's suit. Said that you are becoming quite the family. We love you all. Have fun today.
