While visiting Jonelle and Aaron a couple weeks ago, they put together an extremely thoughtful and helpful trip to visit a Diaper Consultant. Not that this woman would title herself a "Diaper Consultant" but being as she sells these things, I took it upon myself to give her this designation. Anyway, I've been interested in cloth diapers, and other than diapering Tate's adorable tushy, have little knowledge surrounding the ins and outs of such a venture. In Aaron and Jonelle's sweetness, they wanted to help start us out well and get us stocked with a couple numbers to get us going. It was a very educational experience learning about pre-folds, fitted, one-sized and all-in one diapers. I think I just botched the category names. The brand names of the diapers are just adorable. The blueish one featured here is from the "Happy Heineys" line while the yellow is "BumGenius." I'm thinking we'll start with a few of these types, plus some pre-folds (basically the original version of cloth diapers with much improved fasteners instead of pins and waterproof covers) and see what works best for us. We'll probably also throw in some G-diapers (flushable) to round out our collection.

I have a 6 bum genius 2.0 and 3 medium fuzzy bunz, a large wet bag, cloth wipes, along with 20+ prefolds (in newborn and medium sizes), a snappy, and several covers that you can have. I'd been meaning to ask you if you wanted them. They've been sitting in the closet for a while so hopefully if we come visit I can deliver them to you!!
I bought the smallest size starter kit of g diapers--not sure yet if we'll stick with them, or not. Time will tell. I also bought a case of the smallest size of seventh generation disposables, because the thought of dealing with the whole g diaper process in the middle of the night after i've only slept for minutes at a time sounds less appealing than flushing mySELF down a toilet while wrapped in a dirty diaper.
