Once upon a time there was a family of five: Mark, Amanda, Jude, Luke and Victor. They were really just wingin' it...

If anyone is out there this evening....
I would really covet your prayers. After the most uneventful pregnancy ever, the baby just decided to flip (we're at 39 weeks). As in flip, I mean to a breech position. Baby had been head down for weeks! Tomorrow morning I'll be hitting the ground with a trip to the Chiropractor (if I can get in), Acupuncturist, than the hospital for an External Version. If all fail, it's a cesarean, though I don't know when that will be. Needless to say, this wasn't what I expected, not in the least, but am working to trust that God's got my back, and the baby's back (the precious little back that just made a big 'ol turn) on this one too. My apologies to the passengers that Mark abandoned in Chicago. He's-a-coming home.

First of all, I will be praying for a flip. Second of all no matter HOW this sweet baby comes into the world, you will be amazed. Try not to worry about c-section or vaginal---I learned that once you hear that sweet cry and see that face everything else flies out the window. Love you and can't wait to meet your little "mind-of-his-or-her-own" baby!
Our prayers are with you and both you and the baby. Like Brooke said, it doesn't matter how this baby comes into the world....what matters is that you are both safe and healthy! I just can't believe this little munchkin decided to mix things up! We are here for you if you need anything! Love you!
thanks, guys. Brooke, you and Gabe have come up multiple times over the past couple days. Your model of grace, priorities and wisdom through Ellis' birth keeps reminding us that a healthy baby, not a perfectly orchestrated birth or pregnancy, is the goal. Can't wait for Flipster to meet Nico and Ellis. and of course you guys too!
